I read right here on Daily Kos that Obama is not the enemy, the Republicans are the enemy. How could this be?? I mean how could anyone reading Daily Kos not know that? But I don't blame the author for wasting our time, I think he knew exactly what he was doing, and I applaud him for it. But it tears my heart out that he needs to. As Frank Rich just noted "36 percent of those surveyed rate the Democrats positively, compared with the G.O.P.’s 30 percent. It’s only when the November horse-race matchup is limited to “likely voters” that the tidal wave rolls in, giving the Republicans a roughly 10-point lead. We have two problems. The Republicans are stirred up, and the Democrats are demoralized. So their turn-out is up and ours is down. As far as I can see, ours is down because of us. Lots of disappoint over Obama not performing miracles, and we have no sympathy with the horrendous difficulties he faces. It's so bad, we need to be reminded he's not the problem; it's the Republicans. As Pogo said, We have met the enemy and he is us. Time to switch back and fight for our own side.
